Our Experience:
Each team member has brought years of varied business experience to our company. Hanne Liisberg and Dan Kalinoski were top agents with a local Coldwell Banker franchise for nearly 10 years before deciding to take our business to the next level. We are proud of our accomplishments thus far.
Steve Carnes joined our energetic team in early 2008 from a local Frank Howard Allen franchise and prior to that was stationed for many years at The Sea Ranch Lodge under the banner of Sea Ranch Realty. Steve is a local expert regarding The Sea Ranch and has many years of onsite experience.
Our Office:
The brokerage team of Liisberg & Kalinoski operate out of the only real estate office located on The Sea Ranch. In addition, the vacation rental office of Sea Ranch Escape has their front office with us.....a very useful arrangment for meeting all your real estate needs. We are located next to a very popular Sea Ranch institution: The Two Fish Baking Company, located on Verdant View which is off Annapolis Road near The Sea Ranch airstrip.
Changing the Old Rules:
Liisberg and Kalinoski decided early on in the planning stages, they did not want to model their agency like any other. Rather than fostering competition between agents, The Coastal Real Estate Company's basic underlying principle is company teamwork and we mean just that. Clients may identify and want to work with a particular agent in our company (see our agents below), but the team is ALWAYS there to take care of urgent, time sensitive items and lend the support needed to promote a smooth buying or selling experience.
The New Rules:
The entire company works as a team to better serve our clients every day of the year; provide seamless marketing and sales services with every real estate transaction; focus our advertising on state of the art graphic work complemented by the internet; serve the public, as Realtors, with the highest degree of professional abilities and ethics in our strive for excellence. The Team:
Hanne Liisberg, Broker/Owner/Realtor.
Service above Self. That is the motto and motivation behind Rotary International and a goal in Hanne's real estate practice. Coming to the coast from a background in business, real estate law and commercial development in The Bay Area and internationally, Hanne has enjoyed living on this part of the California Coast for 14+ years. With a Danish Juris Doctor, a US Masters in International and Comparative law on a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship, an entrepreneurial spirit and a love of architecture, design and the ocean, helping coastal buyers and sellers fulfill their real estate dreams and goals, is her mission. After 9 years as a top agent for the local Coldwell Banker office, Hanne is taking her mission to the next level. Hanne is past-president of the Gualala Rotary Club 2002-2003, active in local organizations and finds time to sail on The San Francisco Bay from the Corinthian Yacht Club in Tiburon. Hanne is married to fellow Dane, Henrik Liisberg, a Designer of renown, who uses his talents to the benefit of The Coastal Real Estate Company.

Dan Kalinoski, Broker/Owner/Realtor.
Dan graduated in 1980 from the West Virginia School of Pharmacy and practiced pharmacy for 18 years in Orlando, Florida. He and his wife Barbara looked to broaden their horizon by selling their lakefront home, leaving their careers, and switching coasts to settle into what they consider to be one of the best locations to live in the country.The climate, the clean air, the friendly people and the haunting pristine beauty were magnets drawing them to the area. They have both thrived in this environment with successful businesses being just one sign of that. Barbara is the owner of Handcrafted Interiors, the local premier company for custom work in all things fabric.
After 18 years of retail pharmacy management, Dan decided to redirect those people skills into another people profession...helping people locate and/or sell their properties. Having made the move himself, he has a special insight into the challenges, rewards, and nuances of moving to this remote, yet cultured area. Dan can assist you with making some of those difficult decisions and some of the possible repercussions and many rewards they may bring.

Terri Dittmann, Agent/Realtor
Terri Dittmann joined our team in May 2010. Terri left the corporate environment in 2009. Previously she completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Connecticut and is certified in multiple leadership assessments and action learning content. When it comes to providing practical and enthusiastic leadership development Terri has a PhD in experience, acquired in over 25 years as an executive at fortune 500 companies with an international presence.
She and her husband, Walter, love living at The Sea Ranch and their 4 adult children enjoy visiting. Terri has served as Director, Leadership Development and Organization Development for AIG, Hartford Steam Boiler I&I Co. and The Hartford Financial Group. In addition Terri has provided facilitation and training to a variety of non-insurance organizations and public speaking at regional and national conferences.
She and her husband, Walter, love living on the Northern California coast and their four adult children enjoy visiting.

Craig Alexander, Agent/Realtor
Currently Craig is the Chief Compliance Officer at Weir Capital Management.
He is using over 30 years of fixed income experience to insure that the firm adheres to best execution and suitability for fixed income solutions. Prior, he served as COO/CCO of Premier Capital, where he oversaw the management and underwriting functions for the broker-dealer?s fixed income portfolio.
Craig currently is working with our team as a referral agent specialist, and is enjoying his new Sea Ranch home.
